PFF Flood update 30th August
? PFF Thatta rescued 50 people from Sijawal Taluks that is completely inundated by flood water gushing from breach of FP Bund. People were trapped in the water from 30 hours. They were sitting on the roofs of the houses. Still many peoples are trapped in the water.PFF Rescue team is engaged to take them out through boats;
? PFF Thatta provided drinking water to the 10 thousand flood affected individuals;
? PFF Thatta provided food to 300 families which also included people of religious minority. The task of food distribution is highly tough where affected people in form of mob attack the consignment carrying the food for affecttees. However PFF has so far emerged successful in distributing food in much disciplined way.
? PFF thatta evacuated 1500 People from different flood affected regions.
? Owing to flow of displaced people towards District Badin,PFF Thatta and Badin deployed its rescue and relief team there. It has established information cell.
